Now a days it is very normal thing that every one wants sort of privacy in most of the aspects. As an iPhone owner, I understand how we all are restricted to perform some basic and essential modifications to this device. I got my first iPhone few months back only and believe me, I never felt so restricted ever in my digital life. Though it is one of the most amazingly crafted device ever existed till date, but I was dumbstruck when i came to know about the fact that i have to see the same stock apps again and again on my home screen which i don’t want to see anymore.
Moreover, most of us have some apps in our phone which we don’t want anyone to see at a particular instance of time. Earlier it was cumbersome to Hide app icons on iPhone as we have to Jailbreak it, but in iOs 9 it is much easier to Hide Apps On iPhone or iPad without Jailbreaking it. Pre-requisites To Hide Apps On iPhone or iPad :
- Your iPhone should be running on iOS 9 or above.
How To Hide Stock Apps On iPhone :
Step 1: First select all the apps you want to hide or the app which you don’t want to see anymore on your home screen.
Step 2: Put all of these apps in a folder. If you want to hide just one app, you still need to place it into a folder.
Step 3 : Once inside the folder, Tap and hold the app which you want to hide until it come in a jiggle mode, now move the app to the last page so that it would be alone. “Jiggle Mode” should be active.
Step 4 : Don’t Release your finger from the app. While holding the app press the home button , you’ll see that your app is flying towards top left corner of your phone and it’ll get vanished.
Step 6: As soon as you come out of the folder you’ll see that your app is no where on your home screen. Repeat the above steps for the next app which you want to hide.
Please make sure, this trick will work until you don’t restart your phone, once you restart it your disappeared app will be placed at the same location where it was earlier.
