Today at GizmoStorm, we’ll talk about the possible solution for a problem that each of us face while using iPhone and want to get rid of it as soon as possible. Yes, we are talking about the missing pause and resume video recording feature on iPhone. Either being a social person who is too active to record every moment of his life or an introvert geek who record videos once in a while, you might have wished to Pause Video Recording on iPhone and resume it whenever the scene is all set. Isn’t it?
Over the years, Apple is constantly trying to tweak it’s camera to adapt with the needs of users. But don’t know why, this pause and resume video recording feature is not been implemented yet and it seems this feature is not even in the list of Apple considering the future updates.
Frankly speaking, we owe a lot to active developers who are working day and night to make our life simpler and one of the author “PoomSmart” from Cydia repo BigBoss is no different. So, let’s have a look how his tweak has implemented one of the most demanding camera feature to pause video recording on iPhone.

How To Pause And Resume Video Recording On iPhone
Step 1 : Fire up Cydia and search for PauseResume. Head over to it, Press Install and Confirm your installation. Cydia will ask you to restart your SpringBoard, please do it.
Step 2 : Open your iPhone’s Setting page and locate PauseResume. Tap it and make sure PauseResume is enabled.
Step 3 : Move back and open your Stock Camera app from device’s SpringBoard. Switch to Video mode and Start recording. It took me couple of minutes to notice how to pause recording, you just have to press the Timer on top of the screen and you are done. Your video exactly paused the way you wanted.
Now again press the Timer and you are all set to resume the recording. Though it fulfils the purpose, but you might face stutter after resuming recording when frame rate chosen is greater than or equal to 60.
PauseResume definitely gets +1 from our side. Facing any issues? Do let us know through comment section or shoot a mail through Contact Us section, we are always listening. Keep subscribed for latest How-tos at Gizmostorm. For more iPhone Tutorials, head over to iOs How-tos section right away.
